Germany Opportunity Card
Germany Opportunity Card

Move to Germany. No Job Offer Needed.

The Germany Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) lets you move to Germany without a job offer. You need a qualifying profile, a points threshold, and the right documentation.

You Wanted to Work in Germany. You Couldn't Find the Right Entry Point. Until Now.

Every route you looked at had the same requirement: a job offer from a German employer. Getting that offer from Hyderabad, competing against EU candidates who don't need sponsorship, felt impossible.

The Opportunity Card changes that. It lets you move to Germany legally for up to one year and find your job from inside the country.

Getting in front of the right employers was the real problem. The Opportunity Card solves exactly that.

91 Travel client success story

The Chancenkarte, Your Route Into the German Job Market

The Opportunity Card is a points-based residence permit. You can work up to 20 hours per week while searching for qualified employment. No course enrolment required. Minimum 6 points needed.

At 91 Travel, we manage qualification recognition as an integrated part of your application, not a separate step you navigate alone.

What You Get

What We Handle From Application to Arrival

01

Points assessment and route determination

We calculate your current points position and determine whether you qualify under Route 1 (recognised qualification) or Route 2 (points system), and what needs to be improved before you apply.

Which means: You know exactly where you stand before spending time or money on an application.

02

Qualification recognition management

We identify the correct recognition authority for your specific occupation and qualification, prepare your documentation package, and manage the recognition process from submission to outcome.

Which means: The part of the process that delays most applicants doesn't delay yours.

03

Language score strategy

German language skills add up to 3 points, the highest single factor. We assess whether English scores alone can get you to the threshold and whether targeted German preparation is worth pursuing.

Which means: You enter the points calculation with the strongest language position your current skills support.

04

Financial sufficiency documentation

Germany requires proof that you can support yourself during your stay. We tell you exactly how much you need to show, in what format, and whether a blocked account or alternative evidence is right.

Which means: Your financial documentation is correctly structured and doesn't raise questions at the consulate.

05

German consulate application preparation

We prepare your complete application package, cover letter, supporting documents, point calculation evidence, and brief you on the consulate interview where applicable.

Which means: Your application arrives at the consulate as a complete, professional case.

06

Job search strategy for Germany

Arriving in Germany with a visa but no job search strategy is the step most applicants don't prepare for. We advise on the German job market, industry-specific platforms, and networking approaches.

Which means: The year you have in Germany is spent productively, not figuring out where to start.

Common Questions

Questions We Hear Every Day

Do I need to speak German to apply?

No, German language ability is a points factor, not a mandatory requirement. If you score 6 points without German language points, through your qualification, English proficiency, work experience, and age, you qualify. However, German skills significantly improve your employability once you arrive.

How much money do I need to support myself for a year in Germany?

Germany requires proof of approximately €1,027 per month, or roughly €12,300 for a full year. This can be demonstrated through a blocked account, a declaration of commitment from a German resident, or a combination of both.

How long does the application process take?

From the start of qualification recognition to visa issuance typically runs 3 to 5 months, depending on your occupation and the German consulate processing time in your region.

Can I bring my family with me on the Opportunity Card?

The Opportunity Card itself is an individual permit. However, once you convert to a Skilled Worker Visa after finding employment, your spouse and dependent children are eligible for family reunification.

Is the Opportunity Card the same as a job seeker visa?

They are related but different. The Opportunity Card has broader eligibility, including vocational qualifications, and uses a points system. For most Indian applicants, the Opportunity Card is the more accessible and more structured route.

Germany Is Hiring. The Question Is Whether Your Application Is Ready.

A free 45-minute counselling session covers your qualifications, points position, language scores, and target sector, and tells you whether the Opportunity Card is right for your profile.

P.S. , The applicants moving through fastest are those who started qualification recognition early, before the system became congested. If Germany is your plan, the time to start is now.
